Tonight Elijah is joined by: Jose Cuervo, Johnny Walker and Jack Daniels
Elijah: If it is okay with you guys I thought we might chat about the futures game, won by the United States 8-7 in eleven innings.
Johnny: Well we know why George isn't here.
Jack: What does that mean.
Elijah: George is not here. Please don't stir up things up.
Jack: I'll get with Johnny later about it. I really thought Billy Colangelo (3-A Vancouver) was the best player on the field.
Johnny: I agree. He went 4 for 6, with 2 runs scored and 3 runs batted in.
Jose: I wouldn't want to be Earl Mullin.
Jack: Who is Earl Mullin?
Jose: He's the same age as Colangelo and is current major league left fielder.
Johnny: Well he's moving for sure. First base or another team.
Elijah: Who else should I know about guys?
Jack: I think we got to start the conversation with Rick Silva of the Shamrocks(3A). He's 24 years old and has 122 saves in the minors.
Johnny: He has also blown 38 saves and his ERA is a little high.
Jose: Something is weird here. The numbers are running wild on both sides; good and bad. i checked a little on this guy and was surprised he cleared waivers. Seems weird.
Johnny: The most amazing thing to come out of the future game was the promotion of Bud Rucker of the Charlotte Knights. Sixteen days after starting the future's game Bud was pitching in the majors; that is a big jump from double-A.
Jack: It looks like Charlotte is firing all it's bullets in it's fight with Boston and Augusta to win the AL East.
Elijah: That is a topic for another session. Let's get back to the future game who wrap this up.
Jose: Alberto Moreno, a Super Trooper, also has been promoted to the majors.
Elijah: Again another story for another day.
Johnny: All in all there were a lot of future all stars in that game. Its always been a tough league and it only seems like it's getting tougher.
Elijah: Well said Johnny. We can all enjoy ourselves and talk about other matters.
